and educated in Scotland. Feryna’s
charm and beauty was evident from an early age.

Whilst completing her studies in Scotland,
she engaged in amateur dramatics
and
voice overs to earn extra pocket money.
This led to commercial offers and short films.
One of her first major acting roles was in
The Vagina Monologues‘ by award winning
playwright Eve Ensler
A visit to the Camel Fair in Pushkar, Rajastan
was a key turning point in
Feryna’s career.
Top photographer Farookh Chotia spotted
her and before she knew it she was shooting
for Elle India, Seventeen and L’Officiel.
Feryna has trained and worked under theatre stalwarts
Alque Padamsee and Satyadev Dubey, as well as the
Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
Feryna is already touted by many as India’s
sweetheart. She had the honour of playing
Mumtaz Mahal in AR Rehman’s ode to the
Taj Mahal, which was directed by
Ovais Husain and shot by Santosh Sivan.
She has also shot for a black and white love
song for Hari Haran.
She debuted in ‘Sadiyaan’ a Raj Kanwar film which marks the launch
of Shatrugan Sinha’s son Luv, and boasts a huge star cast of
Rekha, Hema Malini and Rishi Kapoor….
Feryna is also starring in Ketan Mehta’s movie ‘Rang Rasiya,’
which is being produced by Deepa Sahi.
The movie is based on Raja Ravi Varma’s life
where her character is a journalist and the third woman in his life
Feryna shot for a 2 minute UN film opposite
bollywood actor Harman Baweja, directed byPan Nalin.
The movie was showcased at Cannes film
festival in May 2009
